Condolence: Sharon and family,
Bill was a great man, with a heart of gold. He was multi-talented and had solutions for many problems that I could challenge him with. I enjoyed many morning coffees with him also. He will certainly be missed by many. Our thoughts and prayers are with you all in the time of your loss.

Condolence: Sherry and Chris,
We're so sorry to hear about Bill. Marc had heard he had only a short time left from the cancer, then the next day we heard he had died. He's been a friend and neighbor for more than 50 years - what a shock! We will miss him. Please let us know if there is anything we can do to help you.

Condolence: I have never forgotten this man who I met back in the 70's. My then husband and I were visiting his home, and he had a trapping magazine on the table.
I questioned his interest in this most savage of sports, and he readily responded with a passionate disdain of trapping - particularly of the steel-claw trap.
I remember him holding out his strong arm while he demonstrated what such a trap would do to his arm, and how the caught animal would suffer.
He said the magazine was to keep him abreast of the subject, so he will be better informed when he debated with the trappers.
I was impressed with his depth of consciousness, and security in his masculinity to be an advocate for defensless creatures.
I have not met him since, but he had made a lasting impression on me, and the world is less without such a man in it.
My sympathy to his family.
