Her Smile

Whenever I think of Diane, I think of her smile. The girl always smiled. Not a fake smile, a sincere loving smile. To everyone. She had a special gift of making everyone she met feel special, if just for a moment, which is a testament to her heart! She loved life, she loved people. Especially her daughter Blake and her dog Molly! I will truly miss that smile.

The next thing I think of is her laugh. She loved to laugh. It was infectious. you can't help but laugh with Diane. I will truly miss that laugh.

And who can talk about Diane and not mention her southern Georgia drawl. I can't count how many people told her she sounded just like Paula Deen! She lived in the Copper Country longer than she lived in Georgia, but she never ever lost her Southern accent. and let us admit, the Yooper accent is pretty heavy up here too. the word girl was a two syllabel word to Diane. and it was usually proceeded by Molly-girl! I will miss that accent.

Diane, you were a true light in this world. I cannot express the loss I feel and I know others feel. Rest in Peace Beautiful Lady, until we meet again. I love you.
