I have known Marcia for over 30 years. We first met while working at the HCMCF. She was a Register Nurse and I was a CRNA. We were kindred spirits immediately. We had so much in common. Not only did we have children the same age, worked at the same hospital, we also attended church together. I have so many wonderful memories I could fill this book by myself. Swimming at the "river", Sunday school classes, Gitchee's ladies retreat, road trips......the list goes on. She not only was my friend, she was my mentor - professionally and spiritually.
Marcia loved her Savior, husband, children and grandchildren. She was the most generous person with time, money and prayers that I have known. A true prayer warrior. Family, friends, neighbors and even strangers were her mission field. She wanted Jesus to shine through her in everything she did. And everything she did was for the glory of God. An angelic whirling dervish with a heart as big as gold. I can only imagine what she will accomplish now that she has her wings!
I'm grateful for all the wonderful memories and the time I got to spend with her. I'm grateful for all she and Cliff did for me and my children over the years. Dino and I are grateful she played Cupid (she's two for two I hear). I'm grateful to have known such a wonderful, loving, Godly woman and I'm blessed to have called her my friend. Until we meet again.
