Obituary for Jason Paul Bukema
Jason Paul Bukema, owner and operator of Bukema Trucking Services died on August 17, 2022, from a heart attack, at his Dover Street home in Calumet. He was born on April 24, 1974, in Garden City, Michigan.
He is survived by his son, Tyler Paul Bukema of Calumet; brother, Bradley (Liz) Bukema of Copper City; nephews, Donald James Kukema, Aaron Reed, and Zander Olson; uncles: Charles Bukema, Darcy (Diane) Mills, John Mills; aunt, Marsha (Mills)Sauvola; and numerous cousins.
Preceding Jason in death were his parents Donald and Susan (Mills) Bukema; grandparents, John (Margaret Hiltunen) Bukema, Robert (Joyce Haralson) Mills; uncles, Gorden Bukema, Robert Steven Mills, William Mills; and aunt Mary (Mills)Smith.
A private family memorial service for Jason and his mother, Susan will be held on Saturday, August 27 at 2:00 PM at the Bukema residence on Dover Street. His cremains and that of his parents will be retained by family until permanently interred.
