Peter Anttila, 80, a resident of Traprock Valley passed away on Wednesday October 7, 2020 at Aspirus Keweenaw Hospital in Laurium.

He was born on September 21, 1940 in East Branch a son of the late Isaac and Aili (Kangas) Anttila

On November 24, 1962, he was united in marriage to Sue Sturos and she preceded him in death on May 1, 2018.

He was a member of the First Apostolic Lutheran Church of Calumet.

Preceded in death by his parents, Isaac and Aili Anttila, Sisters, Anna and Mary Ellen, infant brother, Paul, and brother, Richard.

He is survived by children:

Mary Ann (Mark) Raasakka
Peter “Buster” Anttila Jr.
Lynn (Gary) Anderson
Paul “Fuzzie” (Julie) Anttila

19 grandchildren

14 great grandchildren

Sisters:
Esther Johnson of Marquette
Vivian (Lloyd) Huotari of Howell
Beatrice Bekkala of Novi

And numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

A graveside service will take place in Lake View Cemetery Section 70 on Monday October 12, 2020 at 10:00 am with David Taivalkoski to officiate.
