Elma/Olympia was a lifetime ago, but I will never forget your family. I am traveling and just got word tonight of Josh's passing.

There are no words to convey how so many of us feel and hope to convey our condolences. Sadness doesn't begin to express it.. Instead, I will share with you that a part of the reason I have lived an awesome life up to this very moment, is because of Josh. He had such a confidence and a sense of adventure when we were all young. He was fearless and filled with mischief and wonder. I loved him so much when we were teenagers. At the time, I was convinced it was my version of Romeo & Juliet. However, what it really was was my profound admiration and respect for his spirit and wandering soul. I so wanted to be him. Thank you for giving us him. It was a gift, that I am grateful for and will miss deeply. My deepest sympathies- Megan Linney

What is there to say. Absolutely nothing except I am sick to hear about your loss. I remember that little scamp running around the house at birthday parties and other sleep overs with his ever present laughter and sparkling eyes. My thoughts are with you, his extended family and all of his friends.

Our sincere sympathy, thoughts, and prayers are with you and your family upon the passing of Josh. Our son Glen let us know of his passing this morning. Glen lives in Seattle and had the pleasure of becoming a friend of Josh's when you all lived in WA. It was one of those "it's a sm, sm world " events that they met each other--I think through their mutual friend, Brent, if I'm remembering right. I remember Glen calling me one day--He and Josh were attempting to make pasties! They were having a good time and the pasties turned out great.
