Joseph Paul Reilly passed on Sunday October 23, 2016. He was born on August 27, 1967 to Joseph and Barbara (Mattila) Reilly in Calumet.

Joe was an avid snowmobiler, off road biker, and a wonderful father. He was a kind-hearted man who helped anyone who was in need. Joe struggled for years with MS but continued to be a loving family man who stayed home to take care of his daughter. Hannah was truly the light of his life.

Joe had many family members and friends whom he thought of as family. He was a sentimental person whom kept a close relationship with his family and friends.

Joe was preceded in death by his older brothers; Lonnie, Fred, and Shawn Reilly. He is survived by his daughter, Hannah Reilly, 13, whom he loved so very much and was proud to be her father, Thurza Mathes, his partner in life, his parents, Joseph and Barbara Reilly, his brother, Dan Reilly (Lorri) Reilly, and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.

Visitation will be Lighthouse Faith Center from 10:00 am – 12:00 pm on Saturday October 29, 2016 in Calumet. A memorial service will be held at 12:00pm at the Lighthouse Faith Center with Pastor Dan Rouse to officiate.

In lieu of other expressions of sympathy, the family suggests contributions to Hannah Reilly in support of an educational fund be sent to: Erickson Crowley Peterson Funeral Home or Thurza Mathes, 346 Osceola street, Laurium MI 49913
