Mary Rozich, age 98, of Ahmeek passed away July 16, 2016 at the Houghton County Medical Care Facility.
Mary was born to John and Anna (Mukavetz) Kroll on April 29, 1918 in Baltic, Michigan.
On February 6, 1943 she married Michael Rozich in St. Joseph’s Church in Calumet. He preceded her in death on October 8th, 2003.
Mary worked for CLK Electronics starting in 1968 and eventually retiring in 1980. After retiring from CLK Electronics she went to work at the Information Center in Ahmeek as a tourist guide until 1984. In addition to her working life, she enjoyed cooking and baking for her friends and family especially Povatica and Potato Salad.
Mary was a member of Our Lady of Peace Catholic Church, Altar Society and choir.
Mary was preceded in death by her parents, husband, 2 sisters, Angie and Ann, 4 brothers, Matt, John, Fred, and Joe.

Daughter: Cheryl (Carmine) DeWaters of Eaton Rapids, Michigan
3 Grandchildren: Janet Rozich of Ahmeek
Brian DeWaters of Charlotte, Michigan
Christy (Matt) Pearson of White Lake, MI
2 Great Grandchildren: Dylan and Tyler of Charlotte, Michigan
A funeral mass will be held on Wednesday, July 20, 2016 at 11:00 AM at Our Lady of Peace Catholic Church in Ahmeek, with Fr. Abraham Mupparathara to officiate, and Deacon Art Stancher to assist.
There will be no public visitation.
Burial will be at the Lake View Cemetery in Calumet.
