Janet Ruth Frisk, 59, of Laurium, passed away on April 1, 2015, at her home in Laurium, after losing her courageous, 2-year battle with ALS. Her family and friends honored one of her greatest wishes, and were by her side during her home health care, and when she passed.
She was born on June 7, 1955 in Laurium, to her parents, Robert Lester and Shirley Mae (Broberg) Berryman. She attended and graduated in 1974 from Calumet High School.
On July 7, 1979 she married her husband of 35 years, Mike Frisk.
Janet owned and ran an in home Daycare center for about 34 years. And in her free time she enjoyed, going to the their camp in Lac La Belle, hosting 4th of July Parties, and attending family reunions at Bete Gris.
She is survived by:

Seven sisters: Judith (Keith) Eustice of Grand Ledge, MI; Patricia (Rick) Bammert of Calumet; Jean (Paul) Blettner of Land O’ Lakes, WI; Bonnie (Kurt) Helminen of Calumet; Carol (Kim) Pacsai of Highland, MI; Yvonne Jolly of Calumet; and Debra (Scott) Dianda of Calumet.
Brother: James Berryman of Calumet
Three grandchildren: Tyler, Rheagan, and Riley
Numerous, nieces, and nephews
