Mary C. Udell, 80, a resident of Laurium passed away on Thursday April 28, 2011 at the Houghton County Medical Care Facility in Hancock.
She was born on June 13, 1930 in Laurium a daughter of the late Roy and Florence (Barsanti) Udell.
Mary graduated from St. Michael High School in Flint and later received her nursing degree.
She worked as a nurse for several Flint area hospitals until 1942 when she moved to the Copper Country working for the local hospital and several area doctors most recently for Dr. Beaukamp.
She was member of Sacred Heart Church in Calumet.
Surviving are:
2 brothers: Donald (Mary Lou) Udell of Green Valley, AZ
John (Barbara) Udell of Green Valley, AZ
Numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday April 30, 2011 at 11:00 AM in the Erickson Crowley Funeral Home in Calumet with Fr. Abraham Mupparathara to officiate.
Friends may call at the Erickson Crowley Funeral Home in Calumet on Saturday from 10-11:00 AM

Burial will be in the Lake View Cemetery in Calumet.
