Robert B. McLennan 74 a resident of Laurium passed away on Friday morning February 1, 2008 at the Keweenaw Memorial Medical Center in Laurium.

He was born on May 30, 1933 in Laurium a son of the late Stewart and Florence (Bedore) McLennaan.

Robert attended the Calumet High School. After school he was enlisted in the U.S Air Force but was medically discharged shortly after enlisting.

He worked locally for C & H until the mines closed, he then moved to Detroit where he worked as truck driver. After his time in Detroit he moved to California and lived there until 1980 when he moved back to the Copper Country.

He was preceded in death by his parents, brother Donald and grandson Eric Preston

Daughters: Brenda (Tom) Schweigl of Sheboygan, WI
Kimberly (Mark) Johnston of Sheboygan, WI

Step Daughters: Debra (Paul) Palosaari of Sheboygan, WI
Luann (John) Passmore of Sheboygan, WI

3 Grandchildren: Melissa (Travis) Clevenger
Nicholas Cheever
Kyle McLennan

Great Grandchild: Taylor Clevenger

Brother: Stewart McClennan of Laurium

Sisters: Shirley Peter of Calumet
Mary Turner of Wyandotte, MI
Sarah (Leonard) Ortiz of Holland, MI

Step Sister: Caroline Babchek of Detroit

Friend: Marge of Lake Linden

Graveside services will be held in the Lake View Cemetery in the Summer.
