Marvin Berg, 77, a resident of Red Jacket Street in Laurium passed away at Woodland Haven in the Houghton County Medical Care Facility.
He was born on May 31, 1940 in Florida Location a son of the late Ronald and Agnes (Luttinen) Berg.
He grew up in Dover Location and attended school in Dollar Bay.
On August 13, 1960 he was united in marriage to Betty Lou Isaacson
Marvin was employed at UPPCO for 39 ½ years retiring in 2000.
He was a member of the First Apostolic Lutheran Church in Calumet.
Preceding him in death was a Brother Melvin, a sister Dorothy Kupari, a grandson Carson, and a granddaughter Elizabeth.

Steven (Kara) Berg of Hancock
Matthew (Lynn) Berg of Hancock

Ellen (Gordon) Anderson of Watersmeet, MI
Visitation will be held on Thursday November 9, 2017 from 4-8 PM in the First Apostolic Lutheran Church of Calumet, and 1 hour prior to the service on Friday November 10, 2017.
Funeral service will be held on Friday November 10, 2017 at the First Apostolic Lutheran Church of Calumet at 11:00 am with Pastor David Taivalkoski to officiate.
Burial will take place in the spring at the Lake View Cemetery in Calumet.
The family wishes to thank the staff of Woodland Haven at the Houghton County Medical Care Facility for the care they gave to Marvin during his stay.
