Condolence: MY SYMPATHY AHD CONDOLENCES GOES OUT THE LAPLANDER FAMILY AND FRIENDS. DOUG [BULLU AS SOME OF US KNEW HIM] AND I WERE FRIENDS SINCE JUMPING THE OLE TAR DITCH BETWEEN OUR HOUSES IN THE BACK YARD. I REMEMBER GOING OUT WITH HIS DAD UNO ON THEIR HERRING BOAT OUT OF BIG TRAVERSE AND LAC LA BELLE.
I WAS HIS FRIEND AND NEIGHBOR FOR MOST OF HIS LIFE. FROM THE MOVE TO BOOTJACK WHILE IN HIGH SCHOOL TO THE NUMEROUS MOVES IN THE CALUMET AREA WITH HIS MOM ELSIE.
EVEN THOUGH PAUL HAD HEALTH ISSUES AS A YOUNG ADULT I STILL STUCK WITH HIM THROUGH THICK AND THIN. MANY CIRCLES AROUND THE OLD LAURIUM RINK, CALUMET ARMORY AND EVEN A TIMES AT WISPERING PINES A TIME OR TWO.
BULLU WAS AN INTELLIGENT MAN WITH HIS STRONG VIEWS ON POLITICS EVERY ELECTION. I HAD A GOOD VISIT WITH HIM AT HIS CUTE LITTLE APARTMENT IN LAKE LINDEN ON MY VISIT BACK TO MICHIGAN. HE SURPRISED ME WITH HIS MEMORY RECALL AND FACTS. YOU WILL BE MISSED AND LEFT US TO EARLY REST IN PEACE MY FRIEND DAVID
