Vivian Ann (James) Dixon, 75, a resident of Bootjack passed away on Monday June 20, 2016 at the Omega House in Houghton.
She was born on August 4, 1940 in Laurium a daughter of the late Jack and Shirley (McCabe) Pearce.
Vivian attended Calumet High School.
On August 24, 1957 she was married to Albert “Ben” James and he preceded her in death on October 22, 2001. She was later married to Elmer Dixon on July 30, 2003.
Vivian worked as a CNA for the Houghton County Medical Care Facility and as a private duty home care aide.
She was an accomplished pianist and enjoyed the time she spent playing the piano. She enjoyed traveling, reading, ice skating, knitting and crocheting. Later in life she enjoyed boating, fishing and 4-wheeling.
She was a past member of Northwoods Christian Assembly.
She was preceded in death by her husband Ben, son Clint James, daughter Shannon James, Granddaughter Justine Johnson daughter in law Lynn James and stepfather Alfred Brouillette.

Great Grandchildren: Jack, Claire, Sawyer, Lucas and Jocelyn (who was born on Vivians birthday) and 2 more on the way soon.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday June 22, 2016 at 1:00 PM in the Erickson Crowley Peterson Funeral Home in Calumet with Pastor Ken Toth to officiate.Visitation will be from 11:00 AM until the time of service at 1:00 PM. Burial will be in the Calvary Cemetery in Ahmeek.
